We are actively seeking a Certified Herbicide Applicator to join our team for the upcoming season. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience in vegetation management or want to enter an environmental career and are looking to apply their skills in a fast-paced, outdoor work environment. As part of our environmental management team, you will be responsible for herbicide applications, mechanical vegetation control, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will work on a variety of sites, including oil and gas infrastructure, well pads, and rights-of-way, playing a direct role in maintaining land integrity and supporting responsible land use.
Core Responsibilities
• Perform herbicide applications using UTV and ATV-mounted systems, targeting noxious weeds and unwanted vegetation while protecting beneficial plant life.
• Assist in mechanical vegetation control, including weedeating, Hand Pulling, and other mechanical control methods.
• Work in remote and rural locations, adapting to long shifts (typically 12-hour days) and flexible scheduling based on weather conditions.
• Use specialized tracking software to ensure accurate herbicide application and regulatory compliance.

Required Certifications & Training
• Pesticide Applicator Certificate (BC and/or Alberta) required before start date.
• H2S Alive, First Aid, and UTV/ATV Safety Certification (UTV/ATV certification is provided in-house if needed).
• Valid driver’s license is required, with experience handling one-ton trucks and trailers considered an asset.
• Strong computer skills for efficient use of tracking software.
